... so that's what my bro (the real one) calls today... it's his 25th birthday (minus 5 years means he is 20 then again sometimes you have to divide by 5 so that makes him 5 years old) Happy Birthday bro (although i don't think he reads this but oh well)
Niko's birthday was on monday (aka election day for us canadians) so Alles gute zum Geburtstag Niko
Jo's birthday was on friday and with life being so crazy and so much to do for school, it slipped my mind... First birthday I have ever forgotten... but remembered the day after, so happy belated and there's a card in the mail for you!!
Canada finally has a new government after 12 years of the same party being in power. Congrats to Harper and his Conservative Party. It'll be another minority for canada however I think it is a good thing that it's a minority and not a majority. This way Harper needs to think of the other parties opinions too b/c they could veto him out (and we would have to go back to the polls) plus I won't have to worry about his humanity opinions as soon as I would have to if it were a majority, since I don't agree with them. (I voted political wise and think it's retarded that some people didn't vote conservative because of a non political issue) He needs to make friends with the other parties but I think this is great for us Western Canadians and a good step in the right direction.
Finally, to the big news of the day (possible bigger than the Conservative victory... hahaha) I yet again got into a car accident, as I was leaving for lethbridge, on the same road as my summer accident (only a few hundred feet souther... is that a word??) and again (and most importantly) NOT MY FAULT. Shouldn't this be a sign that I shouldn't return to Lethbridge LOL and whitemud hates me!!!!!! honestly it happened like on the otherside of the hill from the summer.
Anyways I am okay, my whole back of my car is messed up and now I must deal with this later on today (it's 2:30am on tuesday) I am back in lethbridge but it sucks that there's no one around to help me deal with this... but i'm sure I'll manage... i'll take it one step at a time.
The way it happened: I was driving on the whitemud heading south and I approached the 17th street intersection and me and the other drivers had a flashing red light...meaning you treat it as a stop sign. so the car in front of me stop and went, then I drove up to the stop line and stopped and looked, was about to go and BAM the ford truck behind me hit me cause he looked away for a millasecond. The guy who hit me was really nice and he actually stopped instead of doing a 'hit and run' which is just sleezy and cowardly and some people actually do that. and I wasn't mad or anything because that could just as easily been me on the other end of stick. but my trunk is destroyed and my bumper as well, and I feel bad cause I'm assuming it'll cost alot and I feel bad that the guy will end up paying it but I guess this proves that you can't take your eyes off the road for even a millasecond
that is all,
take care folks
